Revival

Sometimes our lives consist of the continuous pursuit of goals and desires that do not belong to us at all. Sometimes we don't even hear ourselves, we don't understand who we are and what we really want to get out of life.

 

For Yelena Overchenko the author of this project ‘Revival’, finding her voice both artistically and personally became the drive to craft her own reality through the creative prism of the camera lens. Connecting with the viewer to tell a personal story and reflecting on her life as an artist and human.

 

This personal project is based on the author's feelings, her vision, her experience, her past, her rethinking of life, and her search for herself as a photographer to find a personal visual language for her work. The work does not try to show realism but, creates another world an inner world that explores the depths of human consciousness, thoughts, mood, feelings and self-awareness.
